Supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals
Applications for the 2026 Ascension St John Foundation Nurse Scholarships will be accepted from March 2 to April 30, 2026.
This year, in honor of the St. John Centennial, the Foundation is awarding a total of $100,000 in scholarships to qualified associates and/or nursing students within the community to help further their education. Individual scholarship awards range from $1,000 - $5,000.
Scholarship recipients will be announced the first week of June 2026 and invited to attend a special reception this summer.
Eligibility and guidelines
The Ascension St. John Foundation provides scholarships to qualified associates and community nursing students who are enrolled in a nursing degree program at an accredited college or university. Scholarships will be awarded for those enrolled in 2026-2027 academic year.
Scholarships are available for qualified students in the following programs: Licensed Practical Nursing; Associates in Nursing; Bachelor of Nursing or Masters of Nursing.
Among the information you'll need to apply:
- An official copy of your most recent academic transcript
- A professional or academic reference
- Anticipated tuition/fees for the coming academic year
