Supporting the next generation of healthcare professionals
Each year, the Ascension St. John Foundation awards scholarships to qualified associates and/or nursing students within our community to help further their education. Individual scholarship awards range from $1,000 - $5,000.
*The next application period for scholarships will open in March 2027.
Eligibility and application guidelines
The Ascension St. John Foundation provides scholarships to qualified Ascension St. John associates* and community nursing students in northeast Oklahoma who are enrolled in a nursing degree program at an accredited college or university. Scholarships will be awarded for those enrolled in 2026-2027 academic year.
Scholarships are available for qualified students in the following programs: Licensed Practical Nursing; Associates in Nursing; Bachelor of Nursing or Masters of Nursing.
Among the information you'll need to apply:
- An official copy of your most recent academic transcript with cumulative GPA
- A professional or academic reference
- Anticipated tuition/fees for the coming academic year
- Ascension St. John Associates who work in Oklahoma as well as southern Kansas clinics are eligible to apply
