Our Foundation: Strengthening Our Mission, Our Community and Our Team
The Ascension St. John Foundation is the fundraising arm of Ascension St. John. Our mission is to ensure quality healthcare reaches those in need by raising essential funds for our hospitals, programs, medical services and to support YOU!
Your contributions fund critical areas such as:
- Associate Support: Providing aid through programs like the Ascension Oklahoma Assistance Fund (formerly the Associate Hardship Program) for colleagues facing unexpected financial challenges.
- Patient Care & Equipment: Purchasing state-of-the-art medical equipment and supporting specialized services.
- Scholarships and Education: Funding continuing education, training, and nursing scholarships to ensure our care teams have the latest knowledge and skills.
- Community Health Initiatives: Supporting programs that expand healthcare access through the St. John Health Equity Initiative, support of the Mary K. Chapman Comprehensive Breast Center and St. John’s Human Trafficking Response Program.

Other ways to support the Foundation
- Shop to support: St. John gift shops are run by our Volunteers and proceeds from their sales across the system support the Foundation. Our gift shops are great for flowers, gifts, snacks, logo-wear and more.
Volunteer with us
We are always looking for passionate Associates who wish to deepen their commitment to our mission through volunteering.
Throughout the year, we have opportunities to volunteer to support both St. John events and initiatives as well as planned events or projects with our community partners.
